Why Online Piano Lessons?
Teaching online has allowed me the ability to serve my students in a way I always wished I could. As an online instructor, I can provide quicker access to more varied resources during and between lessons to suit individual learning needs, create unique composition projects, and provide more opportunities for group performance workshops. I have noticed a significant improvement in student focus, practice, and retention since I began online instruction. My students have become more accountable and miss far fewer lessons, helping them progress faster. Sick days, snow days, or traveling out of town? No longer an issue! All students need is access to a working instrument and good internet connection to reach their goals and stay on track!

No matter your age, or ability, I believe that everyone deserves to feel like they belong at the piano. I have been so fortunate to have had amazing teachers in my life who always encouraged me to move forward with my studies and find meaning in the journey. When I work with students of all ages and backgrounds, I aspire to help them reach their goals in a fun and constructive way. I try to gently encourage each and every one of them to challenge themselves with different styles of music, composition, performing, and regular practice. Piano lessons with the right teacher can create confidence in finding our own voice and teach us to believe in, and accept, our own uniqueness as musical beings. Credentials aside, I will always consider myself a lifelong student of music. There is so much to learn, experience, and create...and it’s never too late to start!
